Event Policy & Procedures
Educational Booth Application Deadline is Friday, August 7, 2026
Booths with an agricultural or natural resource focus will be given priority.
Friday Booth set-up begins at 11:30am must be completed by 1:30 pm (August 21st). Anyone arriving after 1:30pm Friday will be denied.
Saturday Booth set-up begins at 8am and must be completed by 10am (August 22nd). Anyone arriving after 10am Saturday will be denied.
All booths must remain open until the end of the event at 6pm on August 22nd.
This event will go on rain or shine.
All booth items must stay within the booth area. No signage or other items of any kind are allowed outside of your booth area.
No educational booth, including non-profit organizations, is permitted to sell merchandise from their booth during the event.
Non-profit organizations may conduct raffles or prize drawings; however, all raffle or drawing tickets must be purchased on-site during the event and approved in advance by the Fair Committee.
Provide a trash can for waste generated by your booth; there will be a dumpster on site.
Tables, Chairs, and Tents are not provided – please bring your own. Tents must be anchored with stakes or weights.
All applicants/products must follow event policies.
Unless otherwise requested, application confirmation will be processed via email.
The Swain County Agricultural Fair Committee reserves the right to refuse any application according to the wishes of the committee.
