Participants exhibit animals at their own risk. NCDA&CS Veterinary Division staff will be on site to do health inspection checks on all animals during check-ins. Any participants that are out of state will need to provide a valid health certificate.
All animals must be shown at halter.
If an exhibitor has more than one animal in a class, the second entry may be shown by another eligible youth.
Each exhibitor must assume all liability in the case of death or injury to his/her livestock.
Exhibitors must have been the primary caretakers of the heifer(s) entered in his/her name for at least 30 days prior to the show date.
Awards
Will place up to the top 5 in each age class
Grand and Reserve Champion chosen from the first place winners in each class
Showmanship for each species will follow each specific show (Market Steer, Beef Heifer, Lamb, Goat)
Grand and Reserve Champion will be awarded in each age division
