Arts & Crafts Vendor Booth Information

Enjoy everything you expect from a county fair—including a vibrant marketplace of local craft and artisan vendors.
Stroll through rows of arts & crafts booths and discover one-of-a-kind treasures. From handcrafted and handmade goods to upcycled creations, there's something for everyone!

Craft vendors can set-up and sell both Friday and Saturday

Event Policies & Procedures (Updates for 2026 Fair coming soon - please check frequently)
  1. All Applications AND Payments must be received by Friday, August 7th
  2. Vendor Fee deadline is August 7, 2026. Check or Cash made payable to: Swain County Agricultural Fair, Attn: Melissa Vaughn, 60 Almond School Road, Bryson City, NC 28713 OR online payment available via AutoBooks (emailed invoice) + 3% processing fee
  3. Cancellation policy: if you are accepted, then you must cancel by 4pm on August 7th (Vendor Fee is non-refundable)
  4. Friday Booth set-up OPTIONAL: craft booths should be set-up by 1:30 pm and remain open until 9:00 pm (August 21st). Note: Security is provided for overnight booths
  5. Saturday Booth set-up begins at 8am and must be completed by 10am (August 22nd)
  6. Anyone arriving after 10am Saturday will be denied
  7. Saturday booths must remain open until the end of the event at 6pm on August 22nd
  8. This event will go on rain or shine
  9. All vendor items must be handcrafted by applicant only – applicant must be present in booth throughout event
  10. If you require electricity, bring generator as electrical supply is not provided
  11. Provide a trash can for waste generated by your booth, there will be a dumpster on site
  12. Tables, Chairs, and Tents are not provided – please bring your own
  13. Tents must be freestanding and anchored with weights
  14. All supplies, merchandise, chairs, tables, etc must remain within the allotted parameter. 
  15. No vendor – including non-profit organizations – is to give away merchandise for any reason. Raffles and Drawings for prizes are acceptable only if tickets are purchased at event
  16. The Swain County Agricultural Fair Committee reserves the right to refuse ANY application according to the wishes of the committee
  17. All applicants/products must follow event policies
  18. No applicant will be accepted without meeting all above requirements
  19. Approved vendors must present confirmation certificate at the gate or to event organizer before setting up booth.
