Lisa Hoyle Brings Home the Bacon—Literally!The 2025 Bring Home the Bacon Fundraiser has wrapped up, and this year’s lucky winner is none other than Lisa Hoyle! Thanks to the enthusiastic support and generous contributions from our community, the fundraiser brought in nearly $3,000 to help power the 2026 Swain County Fair.
A big shout-out goes to K & B Meat Processing for sponsoring this year’s prize and to Jeff Marley, who handled the official drawing with flair. And what a prize it was—Lisa will be taking home a whole hog, fully processed into standard cuts and ready for the freezer. That’s a lot of delicious possibilities heading her way!
